Access is managed by our highly secure authentication process and all communication – from your browser to our frontend, backend and database – is encrypted. Our data model also enforces the logical segregation of data between customer accounts. ​

This is compliant with the objectives of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), produced by the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD).

6clicks is built with a JavaScript and micro-service architecture, leveraging state-of-the-art frameworks and development processes. We use Microsoft Azure as our platform to provide the highest grade security on the market while also ensuring high availability.

Our main data centre is located in Australia because of the proximity to our home office, but we are in the process of expanding data centres to several other major economies.

By mid-2021, 6clicks plans to establish 5 new data centres in Hong Kong, Germany, England, East Coast USA and West Coast USA.

Where does 6clicks store data?

Currently, 6clicks maintains and hosts data from our main data centre in Australia. In the short term, we will be opening up at least 5 new centres around the world, with the vision to expand even more over the next few years.

We want to give our users the fastest and most reliable option to connect with relevant stakeholders in the risk management process.

Can I select the location of where my cloud site data is stored?

6clicks will optimise the location of your data based on what is ideal for your business based on points of access.

Is there a default data centre? Where is it located?

6clicks cloud infrastructure is hosted with "NTT in the US at the Ashburn, VA and Santa Clara, CA locations."

Is data processed differently for Users and Service Providers?

We have different packages for these stakeholders, but security is our priority for all our users/partners.

We know that privacy is important to our customers, and our policy is to comply with laws related the use of personal data and ensure we meet the applicable standards set out in such laws.

This is why Atlassian certifies to the Privacy Shield framework and adheres to the Privacy Shield principles and standards. The Privacy Shield framework is a program agreed to by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission to ensure adequate privacy protections for European Union (EU) customers/users when their personal data is moved outside Europe.

We also help you meet onward transfer requirements under the GDPR by executing Standard Contractual Clauses through our updated Data Processing Addendum.

(Infrastructure security)

(In addition to our product-specific security practices, our security team performs rigorous network security scans of both our internal and external infrastructure using an industry-leading vulnerability scanner. We also employ security consulting firms to complete thorough penetration tests on high-risk products and infrastructures.)

(Data stored on our infrastructure is automatically encrypted in transit and distributed for availability and reliability, helping guard against unauthorized access and service interruptions. Additionally, physical access to our data centers is strictly controlled by our data center vendors.)
